The Sustenance Project officially launches its website after achieving over 45 family sponsors through its Welfare pack service.
“British givers have so many options to donate. We wanted to create something simple and effective based on traditional giving practices, built and designed to be very transparent and show immediate tangible results.”
1) When we donate, we lack confidence that our donations are stewarded well.
Many British Pakistanis are discouraged from giving because they don't know exactly how their funds will be used.
2) We don't know which charity organisations to donate to.
Spending time researching reputable organisations is tedious, but it's critical to have a full understanding of the cause you're supporting.
3) There is a lack of visibility for measuring how far your donations or sponsorships go.
It can be impossible to track your donation down to the monetary value and how it's impacting recipients.
We get around by following our core "direct to the destitute" principle. This means not only is the money 100% donated but every penny is carefully spent on the actual individuals are in need the most. In addition our staff & charity workers are carefully selected and vetted so as to allow maximum efficiency of all expense
